The Little Match Girl - Convergence Design

The idea is about creating a donating campaign to support those refugees. A refugee is a person who is outside his or her country of origin or habitual residence because they have suffered (or fear) persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or because they are a member of a persecuted 'social group' or because they are fleeing a war or natural disaster.

WHY CHOOSE LITTLE MATCH GIRL?

To make it noticable and viral, it must be something interesting to catch people eyes and care about it. And the little match girl, is a short story that we believe everyone should have deep impression during their childhood or even watched the animation which is animated by Disney. Besides, the little match girl herself (from original story) is a refugees too. Therefore we decide to use The Little Match Girl to represent those refugees that we're helping.

HOW THE CAMPAIGN RUNS?

We deliver the message using transmedia storytelling by telling a single story or story experience across multiple platforms and formats using current digital technologies included website, short animation, social media, print media like poster and short film.

We do postiing and upload our animation on social media such as facebook, twitter and youtube to publicize this campaign and lead them to our official websites to do their donation. Each donation has been made will keep the fire alive so that our main character "The Little Match Girl" wouldn't get frozen through the winter.
